Purpose of ECPTA

Enhancing Student Learning and Well-being
- Advocate for holistic development: academic, emotional, and social.
- Support programs that enrich student learning beyond the curriculum.
- Promote inclusivity and cultural understanding in a diverse student body.
Strengthening School-Home Communication
- Ensure transparent and two-way communication on key decisions, policies, and developments.
- Foster collaborative problem-solving.
Building a Supportive School Community
- Organize community-building events, festivals, and cultural celebrations that reflect the international and local cultures.
- Help new families integrate smoothly into the school community.
- Create opportunities for parent involvement, volunteerism, and support networks.
Collaborating on School Improvement
- Provide input on school policies, facilities, health & safety, and educational strategies.
- Partner with the school on initiatives like sustainability, diversity & inclusion, or mental health awareness.
Promoting International-Mindedness
- Encourage intercultural understanding through events, curriculum support, and parent expertise.
- Celebrate global citizenship by involving parents in international days, UN celebrations, etc.
